This PRICE-VOLUME HISTORY FEATURE contains un-adjusted
back-dated data for use in building up a company's chart history. In order
to use this data correctly the un-adjusted data contained in this file
will have to be adjusted for bonus issues, rights issues and other capital
adjustments. The adjustment factors can be found in the adjustment factors
link under the CHARTING section.
PRICE-VOLUME HISTORY – DOWNLOAD INFORMATION (BY MONTH)
The ZIP files here contain all the End Of Day (EOD) Data in a particular
MONTH for all the listed companies. Once they are unzipped,
the files within are text files (.txt) which contain the data in the following
format :
Short Stock Name, Date (yyyymmdd), Opening Price, High, Low, Close Price,Volume
of shares sold/bought (in Lots of 100 shares)
For example - JAKS, 20050111, 2.130, 2.140, 2.060, 2.100, 36190
To access these text files, right click on the link for a certain date
and save the ZIP file in your preferred directory. Then, go into that
directory and unzip the file using WinZip.
EOD Data Download Instructions
To access these text files, RIGHT CLICK
on the date and choose “Save Link As…”. Save the ZIP
file in your preferred directory. Then, go into that directory and unzip
the file using WinZip or click here to download.
